Pakistan came into existence on 14 August 1947 after the end of British empire. Muslims were trying to have their own state where they could live according to their religious rules and ethics. Struggles and Sacrifices of Muslims made this happen and Muslims got their own country "Pakistan" on 14 August 1947. So, its not only the duty but passion of every Pakistani to celebrate Independence Day each year on 14 August.
